Northwest Vista College welcomes Richard Drum, Ph.D, as the interim vice president of Academic Success. 

Northwest Vista College welcomes Erin Sherman as the new vice president of College Services. She officially joined the NVC family on June 1.

Congratulations to four Northwest Vista College employees for being graduates of the Alamo Colleges Leadership Academy for Success or ALAS.

Scott L. Walker, ScEdD, a professor at Northwest Vista College has been selected as an NEH Summer Scholar from a national applicant pool to attend one of 23 seminars and institutes supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities. 

Northwest Vista College President Dr. Ric Baser recently participated in Breaking Down Walls' “2015 Bowling with the Stars” event on April 11.

Northwest Vista College welcomes Rey Cardenas as the new auditorium manager for the Palmetto Center for the Arts (PCA).

Please congratulate Dr. Jimmie Bruce, NVC's vice president of Academic Success, on his appointment to the position of president at Eastern Gateway Community College, which he will begin in July. 

District 6 Councilman Ray Lopez visited the Northwest Vista College campus and met with NVC President Dr. Ric Baser on March 26.
