Please congratulate Dr. Jimmie Bruce, NVC's vice president of Academic Success, on his appointment to the position of president at Eastern Gateway Community College, which he will begin in July.
Jimmie has served Northwest Vista College for almost 13 years, first as the dean of Student Success and later in his current post, which he's held since 2006. Jimmie is committed to student success and has continued to teach classes for us throughout his tenure at the college.
Jimmie's most recent contribution to the college includes serving as NVC's accreditation liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
He has always worked closely with faculty and staff to improve student success and services at the college. We thank Jimmie for his service and wish him much success in his future position.
