Dr. Sandra D. Garza, coordinator for the Mexican American Studies Program (MAS) at Northwest Vista College, recently coordinated an Educator Academy for Ethnic Studies as part of the Mellon Foundation grant, Democratizing Racial Justice, which is a UTSA sub-award, in which NVC is the lead community college, with SPC and SAC partnering in the initiative.

Health Screening & Testing Before Coming to Campus

Answer the COVID-19 screening questions before you come to campus (click here for form). When you arrive, show the approval screen, have your temperature taken, and receive a wristband for that day. Those who can’t do it electronically will still have a health screening done in person by asking them questions. Employees, students and community members are encouraged to wear masks.
