You may have noticed some changes in NVC housekeeping services over the past several months.
The Tom Morton Sandoval Rey Feo LULAC Parent/Child Scholarship provides scholarship funds for a parent and for a child under 6 years of age.
Northwest Vista College welcomes Richard Drum, Ph.D, as the interim vice president of Academic Success.
Northwest Vista College welcomes Erin Sherman as the new vice president of College Services. She officially joined the NVC family on June 1.
[image 1]Northwest Vista College's 17th graduation ceremony was held on May 18 and had about 600 graduates walk across the stage.
For years, Northwest Vista College's Community Health Worker program has attracted many non-traditional students wanting to get certified in the program to help others in the community take care of their health.

Complete College America recently released a report titled, “The Four-Year Myth” which addresses the unfortunate reality that most college students will not graduate in the “traditional” four years and/or they incur unnecessary expense due to them taking more college credit hours than were necessary for completing the baccalaureate degree.
A bit of news to include in the Graduation report.
This year, NVC Alumni and Friends raised $405.00 selling carnations at the ceremony.
