The deadline to apply for up to two $500 scholarships provided by the Northwest Vista College Psychology department is Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 5 p.m.
Northwest Vista College was recently featured in the student publication, The San Antonio Ranger, for its new Veteran's Lounge & Resource Center.
Interim Vice President of Academic Success Dr. Richard Drum was honored Sept. 30 for his service to Northwest Vista College.

[image 1]Alamo Colleges Police Officer Mary Ramirez was recently recognized by Alamo Colleges Chancellor Bruce Leslie for helping to save the life of a 22-year old man who was in a horrific motorcycle accident near Northwest Vista College.
[image 1]Northwest Vista College President Dr. Ric Baser visited with Texas House Representative Ina Minjarez (District 124) and other community leaders on Sept. 26.
[image 1]On Friday, Sept. 18, employees across the college attended the SACSCOC World Tour to learn and ask questions about Northwest Vista College’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as well as the upcoming Oct. 6-8 visit of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
