[image 1]Northwest Vista College President Dr. Ric Baser visited with Texas House Representative Ina Minjarez (District 124) and other community leaders on Sept. 26.
Dr. Baser talked about NVC's history, growth and accomplishments. Representative Minjarez is on the Texas House of Representatives Transportation Committee. With her in attendance were representatives from VIA Metropolitan Transit and leaders of San Antonio homeowners associations.
[image 2]Alamo Colleges Police Officer Mary Ramirez provided an escort in her police car to lead the bus of visitors on a tour of the campus. Dr. Baser rode on the bus with the visitors and provided an overview of campus. The Teaching and Learning Facilitation team handed out NVC-related information and items to the visitors.
