Periodically Workforce Education & Training awards people and groups with a special coin to show their appreciation for that person or team's service.
At the November Bragging Breakfast, Workforce awarded NVC's Teaching & Learning Facilitation with the Workforce coin.
Yvonne Haynes, Workforce's CE and Community Education program manager, said the coin was given to TLF because they provide “exceptional service and go above and beyond what is asked.”
“They are so helpful and so courteous and ready to assist in any task we might have,” she added. “They support adjunct instructors, staff and students in all kinds of areas with classroom, technology, Courtesy Patrol, class delay notices, lost and found, and assisting and transporting packages. They are always willing to help with a smile.”
