We often hear from students that they received a scholarship because a faculty or staff member encouraged them to apply. We value the role you play in promoting this opportunity to students and making a difference in their lives. Here are two ways you can help support our students:
- Promote the Alamo Colleges Common Scholarship Application to students. The deadline is May 1, 2022 for the 2022-2023 academic year. Students can submit just one application to be considered for multiple opportunities. Encourage students to find out more and apply at alamo.edu/foundation/scholarships.
- To help us make awards, we’re requesting your assistance in reviewing the student scholarship applications. Sign up to be a volunteer judge today! The 2022 Scholarship Judging event is completely remote and will consist of scoring applications via an online platform during the week of May 3 – May 10. On average, volunteer judges may spend up to 4 hours scoring scholarship applications. As always, the scoring process remains objective and non-discriminatory.
