Encouraging Students to Get Involved

In every team and department at Northwest Vista College, there are always great stories to tell that show faculty and staff going above and beyond.

While it’s hard to capture every story, we hope to periodically share in this space some of the major accomplishments or projects that are taking place. Members of the executive team will write about important topics that they feel NVC employees should be made aware of. Let us know about the positive things your area is doing to help students or improve processes by contacting myself or NVC Marketing & Strategic Communication.

Happy Spring Break! As the semester reaches its halfway point, we are excited about all of the upcoming events and opportunities for our students. Please help us engage our students in these events and training opportunities.

The NVC Student Life office encourages students to get involved and connect with their college outside of the classroom through a variety of ways. Each week, the Student Life office sends out the NVC Virtual Magazine that highlights a variety of opportunities that include yet are not limited to:  Social, Leadership, Academic, Club & Organizations and Wellness.

Students are able to participate in a variety of online and in person activities/events while building their Experiential Learning transcript. NVC and Student Life values our students and their success both in and out of the classroom. For the latest copy of our Virtual Magazine CLICK HERE
