More than 140 people enjoyed an art exhibit entitled “Creative Connections,” on Nov. 13 at the Palmetto Theater.
Music was provided by the Vista Jazz Ensemble and student-led ensembles. “Can You Hear Their Voices” was presented by the Northwest Vista College Drama Department.
A reception prior to the music and theater performances was hosted by the Friends of the Arts at NVC (FANs) with hors d’oeuvres donated by Fusion Cuisine and Catering and a cash bar.
FANs is an arts membership and support organization which provides resources and funding for scholarships for arts students, visiting artists and artwork for the NVC permanent collection. Annual memberships range from $25 to $1,000 and student memberships are only $10.
