Representatives of the Northwest Vista College Business Council and Friends of the Arts at NVC (FANs) as well as NVC faculty and staff participated in the consolidated scholarship application judging event held Friday, April 10, at the Workforce Center of Excellence.

[image 1]“What graduate school are you currently attending….what university do you teach at” were two questions seven current and former Northwest Vista College students received after presenting their research at the Southwestern Psychological Association’s (SWPA) annual meeting held April 10-12 in Wichita, Kan.
Four entrepreneurs agreed that owning your own business means you will gain freedom, job security and flexibility, but you also must be willing to make sacrifices during a panel presentation on entrepreneurship at a recent meeting of the NVC Business Student Organization.
