[image 1]This is the second year Northwest Vista College will be sending another ceramic student to the Southwest School of Art BFA program with a substantial scholarship.
Melissa Maschke will join several of our recent transfer students to be among the first graduates in the recently added bachelor of fine arts program at the Southwest School of Art, located in downtown San Antonio.
[image 2]Melissa received a 90 percent scholarship and describes her recent success as “a bit surreal that I will be attending the BFA program this fall to study sculpture and ceramics. I choose to study and create art because it makes me happy. It provokes me to explore and want more for myself.”
