ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training for Trainers (T4T)

Northwest Vista College employees Mallory Plummer (adjunct faculty, Student Development) and Maribel Montiel (personal counselor, Student Advocacy) recently graduated from the five day LivingWorks ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

The workshop from July 10-14 was in Denver, Colorado and focused on Training for Trainers, also known as the T4T program.

Suicide is both a professional and personal public health issue, worldwide and all ages, life stages and demographics of people are affected directly or indirectly by suicide.

Mallory and Maribel gratefully join the amazing NVC ASIST Training Team as the group strives to increase the NVC mental health ecosystem and help NVC become a suicide-safer community.
