NVC Vice President of College Services Erin Sherman read this at a recent Bragging Breakfast:
“A new student (on a cold January day) had lost his shoes while attending classes here. We (TLF) were unable to find his shoes. In the panic to find his shoes, the same student lost his cell phone. The phone was located but the shoes were not.
This student was walking around campus in 45-degree cold wet temperatures frantic that he had lost his shoes. Our own, Edward Wiggins, went to his car and replaced his sneakers with a pair of dress shoes and gave the student his sneakers. Edward represents the kind of team we have working in TLF (Teaching & Learning Facilitation).”
To thank Edward for his act of kindness, the NVC Bookstore awarded him a $50 gift card.
