[image 1]Members of the Northwest Vista College Advising, Recruitment, and Enrollment teams were taking part in a webinar titled “Beyond Retention: An Appreciative Approach within the Onboarding, Orientation and Advising Experiences.”
This was a great opportunity for them to hear from other institutions what they do to excite, connect and build a lasting positive impressions during on-boarding, advising and orientation programs.
[image 2]As an added bonus, as the presenters from Florida Atlantic University spoke about the involvement of their mascot in orientation programs, NVC's very own Wildcat Willie happened to wander down the hall and into our meeting.
