The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently announced their new cohort for their Latina Leadership Institute 2022.
Among the 24 individuals selected, Dr. Yolanda Reyes Guevara, Ph.D, from Northwest Vista College’s Student Success team was chosen. She will participate in a six-month program designed to build the skills of professionals looking to serve the community by offering them the tools and resources to pursue elected-office as well as federal, state, and local appointment positions and boards/commissions.
Yolanda said she was interested in the program not only for professional development, but to also work to represent NVC with the larger San Antonio community and support its Strategic Enrollment Management initiative on the city’s West Side through a board/commission.
