I am thrilled to be working in College Grants Development as a grant writer for Northwest Vista College. It is an honor to be able to collaborate with Judy Camargo (NVC Director of Grants) on research and grant applications and I look forward to working with NVC faculty and staff on grant opportunities. I am super excited at the potential of many celebrations of Grant Awards for our NVC Community!
I spent the last 13 years working in Advising, both Academic and Career. Most recently, I worked as a certified academic advisor at Northeast Lakeview College (1 year) and Northwest Vista College (5 years) where I spent six amazing years assisting students with enrollment, career and educational goals, graduation and transferring. My extensive background in education also includes seven years working as a career advisor (Concorde Career College, Memphis, TN) and eight years teaching high school social studies (West High School, West, TX).
I enjoy the sense of community at NVC and I am glad to be back “HOME” on the NVC campus serving our amazing students!
