Naomi Gordon demonstrates the core values of Students First, Respect for All and Can-Do Spirit.

According to her co-workers – she is not afraid to advocate for our students and does it professionally. She does not back away from a challenge, she is flexible and proactive when things need to be addressed, modified, or updated.

Naomia quickly became one of the critical pillars since her start with the Student Life Office. She doesn’t shy-away from difficult conversations, instead she provides the team with a sense of trust which leads to successful and honest open communication. On various occasions she brings team members together which has improved workplace relationships and improved collaboration within the department. Naomi is the perfect example of a “professional role model” in the workplace.

She is able to motivate the team to be at their best with her positivity as well as their actions and words of encouragement. She makes our work environment fun and a place you would want to spend time at.
