The countdown has begun to San Antonio's Fiesta celebration!
And every year, Northwest Vista College celebrates Fiesta with its own “Shortest Fiesta Parade” sponsored by the NVC Staff Council on April 23. This year, there's a twist to the parade.
In celebration of NVC's 20th year anniversary, the college will have its own mini birthday party after the parade. With balloons and music to set the tone, members of the college's leadership team will hand out free cupcakes.
And why are we celebrating NVC's birthday in April? The Alamo Colleges Board of Trustees approved the establishment of NVC on April 18, 1995 though the name wasn't decided until June 20, 1995.
