On Jan. 7, Renata Serafin, M.A., APR, director of NVC Community and Public Relations, was honored with an appreciation plaque from the San Antonio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Inc. for her service on the organization's board.
Renata concluded her year as board president of PRSA San Antonio, where she served from January 2015 until January 2016. During her tenure, PRSA San Antonio celebrated its 60-year anniversary. Renata spearheaded the work of 30 board members who organized 15 programs for 800 communication professionals attending the events. The organization also raised more than $2,500 for the Marilyn Potts Endowment Fund for student scholarships.
