Alamo Colleges Police Officer Mary Ramirez, who patrols NVC, was recognized at the Oct. 27 Alamo Colleges Board of Trustees meeting for receiving the San Antonio Police Department Life Saving Award.
Mary received the award for helping to save the life of a 22-year-old man who was in a motorcycle accident near NVC and lost both of his legs. To read about her heroic efforts, go here.
