The Northwest Vista College Marketing and Strategic Communications team received three Gold MarCom Awards and five honorable mentions from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition for marketing and communication professionals that honors excellence in creative work. This year, there were over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 47 other countries.
The award program, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), is the industry’s pre-eminent third-party evaluator of creative work. Judges are industry professionals who look for organizations and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The organization, founded in 1995, has judged over 300,000 entries since its formation. The organization contributes to charitable causes.
National and international organizations that competed in the 2023 awards include local, regional and national colleges and universities including Northeastern University, Northern Arizona University, University of Calgary, University of British Columbia as well as companies such as American Express, American Heart Association, AARP, American Medical Association, Bank of America, Bloomberg, BlueCross BlueShield, Cirque du Soleil, and others.
“The NVC MarComm team wholeheartedly loves Northwest Vista College and it shows in the quality of our work,” said director of Marketing and Strategic Communications Renata Serafin. “We are honored to receive this international level recognition, and appreciate the collaboration and team effort from other departments within NVC, including Dual Credit, Student Success, the President’s Office, and many other areas within the college and the district. We share these awards with them and with our NVC community.”
