Congratulations to Northwest Vista College English faculty member, Melinda Zepeda. She was awarded $2,500 from Florida International University’s Latin American and Caribbean Center Minority Institutions Building Resources to Ignite Development and Growth in Education (MI-BRIDGE) Curriculum Development Grant.
To be considered for this award, faculty must meet certain eligibility requirements to include teaching at an MCI or CC and teaching originally-developed curriculum for a course that includes 25% Latin American or Caribbean-related content.
