NVC Conducts Search for New President

Northwest Vista College finished four days (May 1-4) of candidate interviews, meetings and town hall forums.

• Dr. Laura McMillion of Lone Star College – Online 

• Dr. Marisa E. Pierce of Dallas College

• Dr. Amy Bosley of Valencia College 

NVC Vice President for Student Success Debi Gaitan has been serving as the interim president after the retirement of President Ric Baser last year.

The president of the college reports to the chancellor Alamo Colleges District and serves on the District Senior Leadership Team comprised of college and district leaders to further the mission of the college and the district. The new president is expected to take on their new role in July.
