While it’s hard to capture every story, we hope to periodically share in this space some of the major accomplishments or projects that are taking place. Members of the executive team will write about important topics that they feel NVC employees should be made aware of.
Let us know about the positive things your area is doing to help students or improve processes by contacting myself or NVC Marketing & Strategic Communications.

A recent Noel Levitz survey came back with very positive and glowing results on how satisfied students are with NVC faculty. It not only showed increases in almost every area since the last survey in 2018, but also exceeded the national community college results.
In 2020, RNL launched a Priority Survey of Online Learning to ask students on the way they would rate their satisfaction for online instruction and learner support. The two strengths for NVC that were particularly highlighted and that we should be proud of are: 1) Online learning tools are easy to use and 2) Online learning services adequately meet the needs of students.
Since so much of our offerings have been remote and online during this extraordinary pandemic time, it is important to listen to the student voice for ways in which we can improve. This same survey will be replicated this year and the results will be shared out toward the end of the Spring 2022 semester with a comparison to the 2020 results.
The student voice is critical to every conversation we have. As we work through our Strategic Enrollment Management work, we will be sharing more survey results and looking for additional ways to increase the feedback from our students to help guide our work and decision-making.
This spring Northwest Vista College will be partnering with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a recognized leader in higher education consulting for enrollment and student success, and inviting students to respond to the Student Satisfaction Inventory to share their perceptions about what is and is not working for them at NVC. Students will receive a link to the survey via their NVC email accounts, and multiple students will receive a $25 financial reward for successfully completing the survey.
If you are an instructor or are a staff member who interacts with students, please encourage your students to complete the next RNL Student Satisfaction Inventory. This is an opportunity for students to let us know what is most important to them and how satisfied they are with their experience at NVC. Email invitations to students were sent March 29.
