NVC Organizational Learning Coordinator

Jim Lievens is the new organizational learning coordinator for NVC. He is a native of the Rio Grande Valley and comes to NVC after 22 years in communications/public relations, HR and training for Dallas-based Commercial Metals Company.
In his previous position, he was based in Seguin and served the past 10 years as an internal consultant, traveling the country to evaluate, design and deliver supervisor/leadership training. He is a graduate of UT-Austin (BS, Advertising) and has had extensive leadership involvement in church and civic organizations. He holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence, DiSC behavioral profile instruments, DDI Learning Systems and Covey’s 7-Habits. He has also utilized training concepts from Crucial Conversations, the Five Dysfunctions of a Team, The Oz Principle, and Situational Leadership.

New Admin Assistant in Org Learning

Latrice Wilkinson is the new administrative assistant to Jim Lievens, the NVC organizational learning coordinator. Some of her job duties include assisting with scheduling professional development classes and tracking data relating to the classes. Latrice was previously the medical staff coordinator for Christus Santa Rosa Hospital downtown.
She will complete her AA in Business Administration in the fall of 2012 from NVC and during the same time start a bachelor's program in Business Administration. Latrice is located in Manzanillo Hall, room 105L and can be contacted at 486-4920 or lwilkinson6@alamo.edu.
