FREE Training with Org Learning

NVC Org Learning has announced its preliminary schedule for Spring/Summer 2013 course offerings. There's a mixture of new courses and “golden oldies” on the schedule.

Among the new courses are:

Give ‘em the Pickle! Customer Service – This fun program with a serious message debuted at Employee Development Day. Take a deeper dive to examine how we need to manage customer perception during “moments of truth” by understanding personal and procedural needs.

Pygmalion Effect (huh?) – What you expect is what you get. If you have high expectations for a son/daughter, a student or an employee, chances are they will meet those expectations and perform superbly.

Understanding Workplace Engagement and Motivation – What does workplace engagement mean? We’ll learn from our own experiences and by looking at motivational theory (McLelland’s Theory of Needs) to help keep ourselves and those we work with engaged.

7-Habits Refresher – Sharpen the saw with this half-day refresher for those who have previously taken the 3-day 7-Habits course.

Financial Wellness – A “Money Principles for Today” session was conducted on January 18 by Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Antonio. It got such a positive reception, keep an eye out for a repeat performance and other CCCS offerings to be announced at a later date.

“Golden Oldies” making a return are the Whale Done, Who Moved My Cheese, FiSH, and DiSC Indra courses. And a popular course from a few years ago, “Working With You is Killing Me!” is making a return. That’s a good program to understand how to deal with the stress of working with difficult co-workers (and possibly to explore if you’re the difficult co-worker!).
