Strategic Communications Navigating a World Disrupted
Renata Serafin, director of Marketing and Strategic Communications, attended an international ICON 2020 conference of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Titled “Strategic Communications Navigating a World Disrupted: Disinformation. Pandemic. Social Injustice” included national and international communication thought leaders, industry experts and partners in communication, public relations, and marketing. The four-day virtual conference held in October included speakers, workshops, exhibits and networking sessions focused on communication insights, innovation, inspiration and business solutions.
Advancing Full Participation 
Denise Tolan, Barbara Guerra, Janie Scott, and Russ Frohardt recently attended the ASHE conference before the Thanksgiving break. There were great speakers and sessions, a lot of it focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. ASHE stands for the Association of Higher Education.
