The District Wide Employee of the Month cycles through the different colleges every month to determine the awardee. This award is decided twice a year at NVC College, and the winner is voted on from a list of past NVC Employee of the Month winners.

Gwendalyn Davis is a library assistant at Northwest Vista College. She is no stranger to the campus as she graduated from NVC in 2017. Now she is back and excited about supporting students the way staff supported her.
She is passionate about literature and connecting with the community. When she is not studying for her BA in English literature and language, Gwen can be found crafting, writing, and working on innovative events in the library with her colleagues. She developed multiple iterations of an escape room for student information literacy, employee development, and EduTech. She has also utilized social media to reach out to the community using the library mascot, Biblio. After graduating with her BA in August, Gwen has plans to pursue her Master’s Degree in Library Science.
