The Northwest Vista College Public Relations team earned a La Plata Award of Excellence in the 2015 PRSA San Antonio Del Oro Awards competition.
The award is for the fall 2014 NVC Degree Completion campaign in the Internal Communications category. The Degree Completion Communications campaign was the PR team's fall 2014 Wildly Important Goal (WIG).
The award was judged by public relations experts from another state. La Plata awards recognize outstanding strategic public relations campaigns that incorporate research, planning, execution and evaluation.
This is the first time that the NVC PR Team applied for this award and won. The award ceremony will be on Thurs., May 7 at the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio.
