[image 1]Students learned everything from the importance of marketing and branding for your business to what not to say in a job interview during two speaker panel presentations for the NVC Business Student Organization on Oct. 26-27.
On Monday, Oct. 26, students heard from Ted Terrazas, senior vice president, Medical Services, Chenega Corp.; Genaro Trevino, owner, Fusion Cuisine and Catering; and Eric A. Hinojosa, the Law Office of Eric Hinojosa PLLC. From the NVC Business Council was Alma Valdez Brown, business development officer, the LiftFund on “Starting a Business”.
[image 2]The Oct. 27 session focused on “What Employers Look For in Hiring” with NVC Business Council representatives Andrea Hardeman, executive director, Talent Acquisition, Harland Clarke; Dave Sanchez, executive director, Hispanic Contractors Association de San Antonio; and Janie Lopez, consultant, ROAR Consulting.
