Congratulations to NVC Vice President of Student Success Debi Gaitan for being one of the recipients of the “Leading by Example” Mentor Award!
NVC President Jackie Claunch was recognized on Nov. 8 by the San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce with the SAWCC 2013 “Constellation of Stars Award.” She received the Comet Award. The award honors women who exhibit attributes of advocating, connecting, and empowering women, men and children to accomplish their goals while obtaining new skills and resources.
[image 1]Mary Zocchi took her preservice teachers to the McNay Art Museum to create a math trail.
Congratulations to Beth May, one of the many talented NVC music faculty members, on the world premiere of her latest compositions – Three Pieces for Horn and Harp. One of the pieces was recently performed in New Haven, Conn. on Nov. 9.
