Express-News Features WETC’s Ties to Black History

The San Antonio Express-News recently featured an Alamo Colleges and SAAACAM partnership event titled: Honoring Lincoln Elementary: Black Westside Voices. 

The story was about how the Westside Education and Training Center was previously the site of Lincoln Elementary that mostly had an African American and Hispanic student enrollment. 

Northwest Vista College provides academic courses at the Westside Education and Training Center or WETC. NVC President Dr. Amy Bosley was highlighted in the story. SAAACAM stands for the San Antonio African American Community Archive & Museum.
