Heidi embodies how we should work together to produce positive outcomes for all of our students, faculty, and staff. She works individually with students, and then also all of her colleagues under multiple departments. Because of her collaborative efforts, she harmonizes with our transfer partners in helping produce future teachers.
Heidi engages with administrators, faculty, staff, and students at all levels. As a major role for an important grant, she shows respect while out in the field engaging with community partners, as well as with our campus colleagues. Heidi’s empathic nature shows in all she does to help her team members as well as out in the community at large.
Heidi’s leadership and support for all of her team members and colleagues has been integral to our grant. She helped to form programs that impact and engage our students for success. She has kept team members connected and engaged with each other, and encourages a culture of collaboration. Her can-do spirit has been a conduit for promoting growth for students whom directly connect with faculty and experts in the field of teaching and education under their grant leadership. The leadership she has shown with her team members under the Community Math grant has exemplified the excellence and caring culture at our college.
