As part of Northwest Vista College’s new online security series, we’d like to give you an early gift – 12 Security Tips for Christmas. However, hackers have made it difficult for us to do so!

We got distracted with holiday shopping and were lax in our attention to cybersecurity tips. This gave hackers an opportunity to get ahead of us. By reading our 12 Cybersecurity Tips, learn how you can be a Vista Cyberwarrior!

On the first day of Christmas, Vista gave to me a brand-new security employee.

On the second day of Christmas, Vista gave to me – two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the third day of Christmas, Vista gave to me – three IT Security Awareness training, two factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the fourth day of Christmas, Vista gave to me four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness trainings, two factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the fifth day of Christmas, Vista gave to me five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the sixth day of Christmas, Vista gave to me, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the seventh day of Christmas, Vista gave to me seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the eighth day of Christmas, Vista gave to me eight safe Wi-Fi networks, seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four password checks, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the ninth day of Christmas, Vista gave to me nine privacy settings, eight safe Wi-Fi networks, seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.

On the 10th day of Christmas, Vista gave to me 10 anti-viruses, nine privacy settings, eight safe Wi-Fi networks, seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication, and a brand-new security employee.

On the 11th day of Christmas, Vista gave to me 11 software updates, 10 anti-viruses, nine privacy settings, eight safe Wi-Fi networks, seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication, and a brand-new security employee.

On the 12th day of Christmas, Vista gave to me 12 Security tips, 11 software updates, 10 anti-viruses, nine privacy settings, eight safe Wi-Fi networks, seven blocked ad-wares, six password changes, five phishing emails, four screen blockers, three IT Security Awareness training, two-factor authentication and a brand-new security employee.
