“I just wanted to e-mail you with some bittersweet news, I’ve gotten accepted to A&M Kingsville Pharmacy School!
I wholeheartedly don’t think I could’ve done it without your help and kind words of encouragement along the way. I distinctly remember looking through course requirements anxiously in your office thinking about how I was going to continue and if I was really making the correct decision, if I even wanted an Associates or not, and every little thing that you urged me to do or keep doing I am so grateful for. Despite what I was going into not being your expertise, you sat there with me patient and unwavering answering every little question I had and saying sweet but stern things all throughout.
I’m happy to say that this May on the 13th I will be graduating with two degrees you suggested to me (Liberal Arts and General Science) as well as my Pharmacy Technician Certification and Licensure, and all my prerequisites for pharmacy school completed! Therefore as I leave NVC, I have you to thank for the wonderful journey through community college as a stepping stone for a future Doctor of Pharmacy.
Please keep doing an incredible job with your students working through and helping them get to where they would like to be.
