Northwest Vista College President Dr. Ric Neal Baser was selected for the Educator of the Year Legacy Award from the West Chamber of Commerce and is doing so on behalf of the college.
“I am humbled that this recognition is being bestowed upon me as I consider each one of Northwest Vista College faculty and staff to be the recipients of this tremendous recognition,” he said.
The West Chamber will hold a Legacy Gala titled “Love Our Differences, Celebrate Our Contributions” later this month to recognize local leaders. The West Chamber exists to promote economic prosperity by connecting, advocating and supporting the business community which includes education and non-profit organizations.
