Welcome Charlie Young & Bits Sirchia

Charlie Young

Charlie Young is the latest addition to the NVC Teaching with Technology department as an Academic Program Specialist.

He earned a BA and MA in Convergent Media from the University of the Incarnate Word while serving as web editor for the student run newspaper, The Logos, and as a photographer for the Office of Communications and Marketing.

Charlie worked for NVC on a Title V Grant in 2015 and when the grant expired, he was hired by the IT department at San Antonio College as an instructional designer.

He has returned to NVC and is enthusiastic to support faculty who use technology in face-to-face, hybrid or online environments. He hopes to increase the variety of faculty resources in face-to-face and online formats for teaching related technology. You can find Charlie at Manzanillo Hall, room 204F or by phone at 486-4403.
