Students are allowed to work during this time but cannot be on campus. Any work they do must be remote. The same applies to off campus employers.
No time sheets will be required! According to Alexandra Hellinger, Alamo Colleges associate director of Student Financial Aid, said “We are going to continue to pay them the amount equal to their financial aid weekly award, whether they actually work or not.”
Students are not required to work if they do not have the means to or wish to focus on their classes at this time. Student are still not required to submit timesheets if they choose to work remotely. Supervisors are not required to approve and submit student timesheets.
