She received a Del Oro Award from the San Antonio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Renata was recognized as the 2013 Public Relations Professional of the Year at the 11th annual Del Oro Awards banquet held on May 9.
The award honors an outstanding individual who, in a given year, achieves tremendous success in public relations: the management function that establishes mutually beneficial relationships between an organization and the public on whom its success or failure depends.
[image 2]Renata was recognized for her work on the NVC degree completion campaign, volunteer service to the PRSA chapter and contribution to the advancement of the public relations profession.
In 2010, Renata received her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and has since mentored others to obtain the designation. APR is the profession’s only national post-graduate certification program that measures knowledge and skills in the field of Public Relations.
