May 21, 2020 | NVC PR | Leave a comment Northwest Vista College Vice President for College Services Erin Sherman was selected to serve on the national Board of Directors for the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL). Erin serves as a state adviser for the Texas PBL chapter and joins other state advisers: Bob Kollar for Pennsylvania; and Jill Johnson for Alabama. Brandon Griffin of USA Today was selected to be the organization’s business and industry representative. They all will begin three-year terms on Aug. 1. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is the largest career student business organization in the world with over 230,000 members. The mission of the organization is to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. Erin has been actively involved in the organization since 2001 and has served in several capacities, most recently as a member of the National Awards Program Committee.
