Northwest Vista Student Advocacy Center Director Lisa Black recently took part in a webinar that discussed the challenges institutions face around scaling emergency aid.
The webinar looked at the emergency aid models that Amarillo College and the Alamo Colleges District successfully rolled out to support their students. Leaders from both institutions discussed the challenges they faced, how they overcame them, and the opportunities that good emergency aid programs present. The webinar was on Feb. 10 and was sponsored by The Hope Center for College, Community and Justice.
