GailI Monsalvatge
is a new student support specialist for Northwest Vista College’s Veterans Affairs department.
She is responsible for providing a positive experience for students and prospective students, while assisting with the requirements necessary to utilize their VA benefits.
Gail is a California native with over 30 years of work experience. Prior to moving to San Antonio, she worked in various positions in the private sector as well as civil service. Some of the positions that she held included working as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, program technician for the California Department of Corrections Background Investigation Unit, and her previous position as an executive secretary of Public Finance for the California State Treasurer’s office in Sacramento, CA.
Gail earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from the University of LaVerne in California. In her spare time, she enjoys making crafts, traveling, and encouraging others.
