Congratulations to the new NVC Staff Council officers, who are listed below. NVC Staff Council is an organization on campus with a mission to enhance professionalism of all staff members by increasing access to information, participation, communication, and recognition.
Staff Council has been instrumental in being the voice for employees to college and district leadership, and has helped facilitate issues when it comes to leave (vacation, sick time) and compensation.
At NVC, the Staff Council awards academic scholarships every semester to employees, sponsors Employee of the Month awards, hosts the annual Winter Social, Cowboy Breakfast, the Shortest Fiesta Parade, Memorial Day event activities and much more.
