Phenomenon 2017 Middle School STEAM ( Science Tech Engineering & Entrepreneur Arts and Math) Conference is a collaborative between Northwest Vista College, the San Antonio Independent School District and Phenomenon 210.
NVC’s Migdalia Garcia said approximately 140 students from Rhoades and Davis Middle schools were in attendance. She said they started the day in Palmetto with a motivational and inspirational welcome from MC Red Cloud. His message highlighted the importance and power of education.
The event invited students to engage with numerous speakers and activities that ranged from nanotechnology to music education. Participants also experienced the college environment through touring our beautiful campus, eating in the cafeteria, and the buzz of NVC students transitioning from class to class.
