From an In-Person to a Virtual Graduation Ceremony

A big shout out goes to the Northwest Vista College C.A.T.S Commencement team for coordinating and pulling off the virtual celebration on May 14 instead of an in-person graduation ceremony.

Dr. Lisa McGoldrick of the NVC President’s Office who chaired the C.A.T.S. (Celebrating All The Students) team, said:

“Team, pat yourselves on the back. I know yesterday was stressful, and we ran into a few speed bumps. However, we took a graduation we were planning for six months at the Alamodome, and in four weeks and four meetings, did a 180 to a first-ever virtual commencement. Thank you for staying the course yesterday, problem solving, and finding solutions.”
