Members of the College Leadership Council attended a special retreat on Friday, May 12 to explore Northwest Vista College touchstones. The objective of the retreat was to:
- Recognize NVC culture
- Reconnect with NVC touchstones and operationalize them on a larger scale in today’s environment
- Design a system that promotes continued innovation
- Develop a communications plan to disseminate touchstones and reinforce NVC culture
Retreat facilitator Gina Amatangelo lead the NVC Leadership Council Team on a four-hour journey of thought and exploration regarding NVC’s history, culture and touchstones.
Both new and seasoned employees collaborated on ways to celebrate NVC’s history, amplify NVC’s touchstones, promote innovation and develop a communication plan. Summaries of the team’s discussions will be compiled and published in the next issue of La reVista.
