“She goes out of her way to make sure that students understand the issue at hand by speaking to them in a soft comforting way. She makes sure that bad news is relayed to the student in a very caring and concerned way by giving those options and alternatives to their situation.
She always puts others first. Within our group, she shows concern for everyone in our team. For example, during peak time when it is busy, she always comes to take over if one of us needs a break and makes sure that each of us takes a break. When one of us is out, she takes over that position so that the rest of us do not have to rearrange our schedules.”
“When we come together for a small meeting, she always gives words of encouragement and praise. This makes us feel good and gives us the motivation to do our best. She always strives and pushes us to complete and process paperwork in a timely manner. This is to ensure that other departments have the resources needed to assist the student. She does this to help promote a positive image at NVC. Student Success is her number one goal!”
