Congratulations to the new group of employees for the Alamo Colleges Emerging Leaders Program that started in January 2020.
The group will go through five-and-a-half month leadership development program founded on Franklin Covey’s process-focused content: Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results. The NVC employees were selected by the NVC executive team in order to prepare them for leadership opportunities by giving them the necessary mindset, skillsets, and tools to assist them in transitioning into future leadership roles, positions or projects with greater responsibility.
As a part of the program, the Emerging Leaders will tackle an NVC challenge and try to find solutions that can be implemented. For instance, a previous Emerging Leaders cohort created a new hybrid orientation solution with online and face-to-face information foronboarding new employees to experience Northwest Vista College’s unique culture.
