The San Antonio Peace Center at Northwest Vista College is proud to announce that it will be hosting the virtual reality exhibition “The House” on Friday, March 10 from 10 AM until 3 PM on the second floor of Live Oak Hall. Hour-long sessions begin on the hour.
The installation, which is viewed using virtual reality headsets, has been prepared by the Commission for Victims and Survivors – a body in Northern Ireland tasked with supporting victims and survivors from the conflict. This 30-minute virtual reality exhibit addresses the legacy of the Conflict/Troubles within families and communities. It was devised to stimulate discussion and consideration of the intergenerational impact of politically motivated violence.
The House was developed by Katy Radford and Zoe Seaton who will be on campus to raise awareness of the legacy of The Troubles/Conflict using the arts and digital technology. The event has been made possible by the generous support of the Consulate General of Ireland – Austin, Texas.
The San Antonio Peace Center is fortunate to have been asked to collaborate! Please attend after Moving Diversity Forward!
